A Message From Mari
What are the thorns in your heart that you struggle to remove on your own?
Our Heavenly Father waits patiently for us to come to Him, to ask for His help. But how often do we resist? How often do we fight to do it our way? We writhe and pull away, trying to avoid the pain of His healing touch.
And yet, there is One who bore an entire crown of thorns—a crown pressed deeper into His flesh with every step He took toward Calvary. Each thorn placed there by our very sins, that He carried willingly, out of love for us.
This Lent, we are invited to journey with Christ through His Passion, to examine our own thorns as we console Him in His. Through prayer and fasting, we will discover solidarity with the One who suffered for us and learn to surrender, as He did, to the will of the Father.
For behind the Cross lies a profound mystery: the glory of the Resurrection. There is beauty, purpose, and redemption in the thorns we bear when we walk the way of the Cross with Christ.
