"I love the rosary; but I knew I would before I received it today. It's beautifully made. I read a comment that said the rosary had an odor so I decided to smell mine. My rosary had a nice faint odor which smelled, to me, of chrism. Chrism is a sacred oil used in sacraments such as Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Orders to signify the anointing by the Holy Spirit. I don't think Chrism was used; but the odor from the wooden beads was pleasant just the same. Delivery of purchased items was slow though."
