Our Queen of Angels Rosary is adorned with white gemstone beads to reflect Mary's perfect purity and gold metal accents to represent her royalty.

In ancient near-eastern kingdoms, including the Davidic Kingdom of Israel, the honor and role of queenship was bestowed upon the king's mother, not the king's wife (This is because often kings had many wives, but they always only had one mother). The queen mother is shown in the Old Testament as holding the second most important position in the kingdom, and sharing rule over the kingdom with the King. 

“So Bathsheba went to King Solomon, to speak to him on behalf of Adonijah. And the king rose to meet her, and bowed down to her; then he sat on his throne and had a seat brought for the king’s mother; and she sat on his right. Then she said, ‘I have one small request to make of you; do not refuse me.’ And the king said to her, ‘Make your request, my mother; for I will not refuse you’” (1 Kgs. 2:19–20)

Jesus, Son of David and the promised Messianic King, ushered in the Kingdom of Heaven. Thus, making his mother Mary, the Queen Mother of Heaven. 

Just like the queen mother of the Davidic kingdom, Mary serves as advocate for the people in her kingdom, us! Thus, we should approach our queen mother with confidence, knowing that she carries our petitions to her royal son Jesus and that he responds to her as Solomon did to Bathsheba: “I will never refuse you.”
